Removing ECU bracket

On a 182, I've got all the bolts and fixings out etc but I now need to separate the top 'cover' from the remainder of the bracket so I can remove it from the bay. It looks like it should just slide/pull off but doesn't! Anyone any ideas please?

On my 1.6 it did just pull off, a good yank and it came off. Don't know if the 1*2 one is any different?

some of them pull off others are very difficuitand require some persudeing.

it does pull off, just needs wiggling off with a lot of effort.lol.

Right, done it and it's all back together! Phew! Hardest bit was getting that top cover off but in the end with a bit of persuasion it did just pull off!

5 Year Bump...

Removed all the bolts holding the bracket to the car. There are two almost impossible to get at bolts inside the bracket they look like there holding the ecu inside the bracket, do these need to be removed aswell?
