Removing Ignition

Hey, So i snapped my key inside the ignition yesterday, I have anew ignition barrel already from a scrap clio.

How do I remove the ignition barrel it I cant turn the key in the ignition?

i used a drill mate to drill through the hole where it unlocks with the key.goes through pretty easy

stop stop stop! all you need is a new (second hand) barrel and key, swap your plips over, job done

I have bought a new ignition and got the spare key with it. it cost me £25, im trying to remove the old barrel is this right or is there an easier way around this?????
