Removing numbers on side bullets

What is the best way to remove the 16V bit that sticks out on the bullets? Will it just sand off? Or can you buy them blank?

You'll have to sand it off

The new Campus has blank ones so yes you can buy them, but most people sand the existing ones down with a small power sander.

Sand em down. Did it on a pair of 1.4 16v ones I had, then realised that was stupid so bought another pair of bullets but yeah sand down with something like wood sandpaper to get the lettering off then tidy it up with some wet & dry

any opinions on what it looks like? better or worse? in the next couple of weeks i'll have all the rs bumpers, skirts and wings fitted and sprayed.
