quick racks are actually illegal on british roads.

i looked in to this for my old mini but as it was illegal i never bothered

Ive decided to go for just a standard replacement, i don t like going for standard bits, but i think its the best option in this situation.

The reason for going for manual steering would be a small gain in ATW power due to less losses, and more feel through the wheel. But i dont think its worth it, especially when you consider the resale value.

I aint got power steering - feeling the road is nice.. and, its not that heavy either! Someone thought I had it the other day when I was parking.. throw that wheel around!
