Removing renault sport badge

  Yozza'd Titanium 182
Have just got the new RS badge from renault, the one from the 197 to replace my old ones.

whats thes best way you remove the old ones??

If you are referring to the 'Renault' and 'Sport' badges, I just got a credit card behind them and wedged them off, they are stuck on so you just need to pry them off :)

Obviously take car not to scratch the paint!

Heating it up loosens the glue which holds them onto the car, shouldn't be any/much residue if you do it this way. Simply yoinking them off could damage the paint. There might be some marks on the paint where they old ones have been which may need a little SRP or something, but should bereet.

+1 on the hairdryer.

Also any glue left behind, use a rag and some WD40, turps or white spirit (just use enough to dampen the rag in a small patch).........glue should come straight off.......and make sure the surface is clean before putting the new ones on.

To clear this up:

Ph2 clios: Clio badge pinned, rest stuck on.
Ph1 clios: Clio and Renault badges pinned, sport stuck on.

Hai knowledge.

edit; Oh and this applies to non/rs clios alike.
