removing/selling rear strut brace

My brother has just bought a 182 and we want to remove the rear strut brace.
By the looks of things... its just two bolts using my socket set.
i just wanted to make sure that there was nothing else i needed to do as im guessing that its connected to the rear suspention
anyone shed any light on this please

yh that is currect take them nuts off and the brace slides off the bolts

so i dont need to jack the car up to hold the weight or anything? just literally take the two bolts of and remove?
also its the same on the front? correct?

no shouldnt need to unless the shocks drop then you will to align the shocks back up with the holes

No need to support the car just whap the nuts off.

No, the front strut brace doesn't go on top of the top mounts. It bolts in around it.

how will i know if this happens? Im slightly worried now - sorry im a new to this topic

If the shock just drops down with no resistance, it's fubared. I would expect it'll be fine, don't worry.
