The easiest way to get a good guide is:
become a member (for £5)
Then go to the member only area on the site and there is a complete guide on how to do it ;)

Otherwise, cant remember, but out of memory, there is something like 14 screw or something to remove, plus you need to remove the wheel and other bits.

What model do you have? Ive got a mk2 phase 1, or a phase 2 mk1 (errr its a v6) and I had to remove the top dash section to get to the tweeters, but apparently on the mk2 you can simply remove the grills.

Just remove all the screws with a torque bit, then remove the A-piller covers, and it will all slide off. You dont need to touch the steering wheel or any airbags.

As said theres a very good guide in the members area.

The grills are meant to be able to "pop" out, however if you break them AFAIK you cant buy them separate from the top dash which is £200ish.
