Removing tinting spray from lights

My girlfriend's car has had the rear lights sprayed with black tinting spray. Any ideas on how to get it off?

one of the companys that make the spray can tint stuff make a remover too.
white spirit works too if you apply quickly and rinse.

Well nail varnish remover works but it's gonna take ages! Thinking about turps now...

Its not a slow process that for sure! I had better results with the varnish remover than i did with white spirit/turps etc
