Removing uch / bypass immobiliser on mk2 clio

Has anyone successfully removed/bypassed the uch on their mk2 clio whilst retaining the factory ecu?

I’m building up a race car so there’s no need to retain the locking etc, and would like to get rid of the redundant boxes/wiring/key fob if possible

seems the ecu gets a signal over canbus from the uch and without it it’s a no go.

Yes there are threads in this, uses a ph1 172 ecu
