R Rorrie Nov 5, 2003 #2 didnt realise they even had xovers!!! tought there was just basic filters! if you were to do that, you would be wasting the potential of the comps, the xo are set to match the speakers. also you should really think about amping them up to get the most out of them

S SOAPSUDS Nov 5, 2003 #3 Why do you want to keep excisting x-overs! Just spend little more time in removing them and replacing with ones that come with components as standard- if your going for comps that is ?? If you keep them they wont sound that brill and itl be waste of your money! They only match the Rens ones (to a point)

S SOAPSUDS Nov 5, 2003 #5 You can just connect the spks to the original wireing using the existing connecters Get some good sound proofing behind your doors for best results and to stop vibrations ect..
