Renault European Cover - 4 days - £34.65

Ok, as Im off to this euro trip (and last time my brand new 172 broke down) I thought id call Renault and extend my assistance to euro.

They quoted my the £34.65 to extend for 4 days.

Still undecided whether to bother - wouldnt have thought about it but last time it was a real pain in the ass to get home without the car (it was on a bank holiday when the queens jubilee celebrations where going on)

The AA do a 7 day 5 star cover for £40 even to non members so the Renault cover seems a little too expensive.

I did a three week trip around Europe last year and cover was obviously an issue.

I shopped around and cant remember who I used in the end but I think it was Green Flag and It didnt cost me more than £15.

Its definately worth checking out - sometimes you can combine things as well like they give you free cover when you buy your holiday insurance or ferry crossings etc.

Have a fun holiday :)

Ok, might be able to get my cover free with AA (passenger a member) but I need to know the exact times we are leaving and coming back.

Jas, can you help me out with this???

You should be getting the letter in the post any day, but here are the details anyway:

FOLKESTONE-CALAIS 18 APR 03 10:59
CALAIS-FOLKESTONE 21 APR 03 18:33

Thanks Jas, the AA requested actually times :)

Bugger, AA will cover free up to 72hours, if it over that then they want the £35. Anyone else got a good deal?
