I want 2 get rid of my clio in may which then i will have paid 20 monthtly payments on my car! Do i ring RFS and ask for a settlement figure and once paid i can sell it???

yep, get a settlement figure then sell it and (hopefully) raise enough to pay off the finance from the sale!

I got it sorted with my mum she is going to buy the car off me then i can buy the new beast

If you have paid half the value of the finance and the car is in good order then you could just hand it back and walk away.
