Just got back from my first offical Renault Trackday. Had a great evening at Bedford Autodrome, met new people (Hello Roamer) and drove the Clio cup racer which was a good laugh shame they dont offer the option of a six-speed squential box on the Cup, which by they you can now get in iceberg silver as well as with aircon. Would prefer they came with some build quality but thats by the by. Sold out for this year but talk of a day at Donnington in October. Mr Palmer was there himself as well as head of Renault Uk a Mr Phillppe Talou-Derible, who was surronded by Renault staff, so was unable to tell me why he hadnt pesonally responded to the two letters I sent to him regarding the car I had been sold, must be cause hes a busyman!
Anyway my tyres look untouch and the clutch seems OK. No real incidents apart from one lad in a black 172 who ended up in the gravel trap as his brakes went only to be then left stranded on the side later on when the ABS light came on. If you reading Jeremy I will write to you about the day as last time a brought it up on here you had a go, but in real life you seem OK, for a Renault worker.
