Does anyone have the telephone number for Renault UK techincal department? If you go on their site you've got to fill in a load of questions, and they try flogging you stuff. I just want to speak to a real person.

You wont get a number for RUK Tech department (Internal contact only) Customer services will refer you to your local dealership as well as they are not Tech trained.

When I bought my car, I got a Green Flag warranty. Its lists all the parts covered. Recently the dephaser pulley went. My warranty lists timing gear as covered, not pulleys. I argued with the warranty company that even though it’s called a pulley, it is in fact a gear as it has teeth, driven by a belt with teeth. They were having none of it. It was like banging my head against a wall.

I am after Renault UK to put in writing that is gear to present to the warranty company. The local Renault dealer has spoken the warranty company and got nowhere. Anyone got an ideas?
