How can they send a renewal £400 more?

Anyways have gone onto admiral and they will do it for £1391, so thats not that bad.

indeed, renault insurance tried to do it to me.

When you quote online you get a 10% discount which you don't get in a renewal or if you pay monthly

26 tomorrow, 5yrs ncb, 12,000miles, no points, accidents etc.. driving 6yrs, bike license etc. Kept on raf camp, mum (46yrs old) and joanne (30) insured aswell..

A whooping......£701... full comp, £200 excess..

£670 last year, its the mods, tho they are cheaper than everyone else.

Cup packs acannot be proved that they aremods. you could have got renault to put them onwhen you bought the car therefore it is factory fitted and you do not ned to declare these as long as they are genuine renault parts.

You're stepping into a grey area there I think. When it comes to car insurance you don't want to be in any kind of grey cos when the s**t hits the fan, you know which way the insurance company is going to go.

ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING that is original OEM out of the factory is not a mod. Therefore does not need declaring. This is like saying you have electric windows if you upgrade 60/40 back seats etc etc

If it was an option for the car when it was listed its not a mod. Would you declare a cd changer if it was factory fitted as an option or maybe headlamp adjusters, while we are at it why not go the whole hog and declare the type of material that we choose for the seats as there are at least 4 options available and we wouldnt want anone to think they were modded now would we??:S

I've got turini's splitter and cup spoiler on mine...None of which are declared, coz there all factory parts....Down on my ins as cup packs for no extra charge.
