Repair or break..

So, started stripping down the newcar, got the bumper off and headlights out, turns out its had a small bump at some point in its life...

Its nothing major but not what i wanted.. Now im unsure what to do, see if i can get the damage repaired and sort the engine and sell, obviosuly making the buyer aware of the damage.. Or just break for parts..

Opinions?

Also i found the culprit for the cambelt fail..

Half a belt...

Mayb cant tell in the above picture but the belt has been rubbing on the tensioner spring causing it to split and wrap itself around the cambelt

There also seems to be quite alot of oil around...

Also, with the engine problem.. Fix and sell or sell broken?

Slowly coming around to breaking it, i only paid £450 so either way im in the money :rasp:

What about th engine.. Repair or sell as broken, its had a new piston which might bump the value

bet the aux belt has rammed the crank seal in thats why theres oil everywhere. Persoanly i would fix it, non gen everything to keep the cost down and then flog it, wouldnt worry about the slight damage behind bumpper

This is another thing, its not serious damage just couple bits of metal have folded and bent a little, chassis is fine , no bends in the chassis legs etc..

But i just tried to turn the engine over and its solid :dead: kind of hoping its just the belts causing it..

Breaking a car on here is the biggest pain in the hole EVER!

The F4R is massively flawed when it comes to the belts. Someone needs to make some sort of guard and mass produce the fucker!
