Repair or replace Clio 172

  Clio 200FF
Hi all, don’t really post much, more of a search button person but after some advice.

I have a Clio 172 for the last four years, just recently had its MOT and came back with some advisory’s as to be expected. Working out how much it would cost to fix and replace, along with belts due later this year. The costs are comming close to the value of the car and I’m unsure what to do? Do I suck it up and pay or do I run it for a while and see what else is out there.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

4 tyres and a set of rear brakes isn't too bad?

I worked it at

Tyres x4 £300 fitted
Rear brakes discs £150
Rear pads £20
Tracking £40
Belts £700-1000
Needs a CV joint as started to click £?

Total £1210-1510

Value of the car is probably around £2.5k

Do you love the car? Pay for the work

Want to try something new? Somebody on here will snap it up

It's a sort of lose-lose situation, either you pay for the work to up the car value or the value drops significantly because it needs so much work

As @daveski says the maintenance is nothing out of the ordinary just a shame it's all due at once!

With all that work done and assuming it’s not rusted through a 172 with those miles will be worth a fair bit more than £2500.
