Well ive just bought my first valver, and one of the niggles (all of which were known before buying) is that the top of the foam of the hill power IK fitted has split slighlty. Its not all the way round so it isnt flapping about, but if you pull back the top of the foam you can see right inside of the whole thing. Like i say its not a serious gash, just a tear along the top that means theres a 5mm gap along the top edge of the filter.
Is there a way to fix this - i.e. would superglue work or would that just melt at high temps
If not, can you buy replacement filters - just the foam bit anymore? i know hill power no longer sell the kits but i dont know if you can pick up the foam elements still. I dont want to bin the whole thing as these are getting rare and it sounds insane.
Cheers
Tom
