Replacing dash bulbs?

Hi i have a bulb which has blown on my dash right near the speedo, which is a right old pain.Are they easy to replace? might replace the whole lot with bright white bulbs or the led type ones,Any help would be appreciated Nick also have they got a code of some sort. thanks
