Replacing fog light

Renault have told me they want £60 for a replacement fog light and that the front bumper needs to be removed to do this? I know I can get the light cheaper elsewhere but is the fitting correct please?

Price of lamp from Renault is about £75 inc the VAT

GSF i beleive now sell these at £30/35
(both include bulbs)

Fitting - you DONT have to remove the bumper for the foglamp.

Simple jack up the side that needs doing.

Undo about 3 torx screws

Bring flap down

Undo 2 screws holding fog lamp in place

Remove wiring

Replace with new lamp.


Get the lamp and do it yourself

Nop the wheel remains in place as the foglamp parts are right at the front of the bumper.

You only need access to the lower part under the foglamp. Simple jack up supporting the car, about a 15/20 min job depending how good u are at finding the little screws on the foglamp lol

Advise u use a ratchet screwdriver with a torx head.
