replacing front components help - mk2 ph2

new headunit comes tommorow so going to get new components this week.

i dont want to run new wires through the doors etc so can just use the existing wires? the nrew ones will have a crossover so will i need to take the dash off etc to run to the new tweeter?

does the standard wiring have a crossover inline then?

any advice would be great as i presume most peeps have done it on here.

the exsisting speakers are run in parallel. they just use a bi-polar cap at the tweeter to stop all the bass.

you could cut the exsisting wire at the tweeter and then you might be able to put the X-over in the dash
