Replacing front wings

Hi all, had a minor bump the other day and need to remove my passenger side wing. Ive got the lot detatched, but am stuck with a fastner on the rear upper edge of the wing, under the scuttle. Can anyone tell me what else needs to be removed to get it off???

there is 2 bolts on the sill 2 inside the doort then 3/4 under the bonnet the 1 on the scuttle panal is a b**ch but will get these in the end then you will also have to take arch linger out as well

The one you are stuck with is the one under the scuttle panel.

It is a b**ch to get to and you have to take the wipers off.

i never took them off i just used a ring spanner and was going at it for ages

How did you get the scuttle panel off on the passenger side?

think i just used a ratchet spanner, scuttle just needed lifting slightly

Yeh, looks like a ratchet ring job. not sure ill get enough movement to get it off though, then how would you get trhe nut back on?? How do you get the scuttle off??? and does anyone know where and for how much i could get a passenger side ph-quick headlight??? cheers.

you will have anuf movment just tricky i never put this bolt bk on as was to much like hard work and its holds on fine with out this bolt

So its a bolt, not a nut?? Not sure i fancy not re-fitting it, there arent too many fixing points for it around that area. Basically, ive hit the front corner, broken the headlight mounts, cracked some of the flanges that hold the front wing in and cracked the arch liner. the wings just scratched, the inner wing doesnt look bent, so im just gonna get a new headlight in the meantime and just re-fit the scratched bumper and wing. unless i can get the scuttle off to do a proper job and fit new stuff.

take the wipers off, three nuts!!! and a bit of elbow grease to wiggle em off, there are two little circular clips at the end of the scuttle panels you need to press them in, with a small screwdriver (or a pen if your really stuck) then the driver side scuttle comes off real easy, lift and pull, its got wierd clips under the windscreen then just pull out forwards, the passenger side one is a little more tricky, just more wiggling till it comes off, now easy access to the bolt, once sorted just put thing back together, the little circular clips need the center pulling out so that when you put them back in, you push to make the middle flush and it gets a grip, hope this helps
