Replacing standard speakers - problem

Well, got hold of some Infinity 552is (4 of them) and went out to my car at lunch time, armed with a philips screw driver, got the cover off for the first speaker, and found that they were held in by 4 Torx screws.....

Bugger..... and Im meant to be going out as soon as I get home wanted to try them out, but aint gonna be able to until sunday now

For future reference mate, theres a torx screwdriver in the tool kit that comes with the car!!!!

The speakers are about £50-£60 depending on who you go to.

Hmph! I never got any toolkit with mine! Only the jack and associated pariphernalia.I had to buy a Torx screwdriver. £12 bloody quid it cost me too!

There are two silver rods (one screw driver bit on each end, so four in total)

lol. my mate works in halfords and he just knicked me the screw driver...er i mean lent it to me...hehe

Griff - Got them from Halfords, about £60 a pair, not the cheapest place I know, but I just wanted to get rid of those original speakers and get something that has a more solid sound to them... and the 552is do.

Mike - Yeah, well had to get something, I can never be left with money for too long, it just starts being spent on stupid things, so better off spending it on something I want eh?
