reseting 172 computer

Im sure someones mentioned this before but could find it , how do you reset the trip computer and everything on a mk2 172?

Oh and while were at it how do you turn the auto lights on and off?

Does nobody read their owners manual these days????

To reset the trip computer press the button on the end of the wiper stalk once to get the trip milage and then press the button to the left of the trip display. Press the button on the wiper stalk again to get the mpg and reset that in the same way.

To switch auto lights on/off switch the headlights from off to dipped beam twice and you will hear a beep.
