Residue all over gb

Hi,

Just noticed this mess any ideas what route cause could be or steps to diagnose, is it anything to be concerned about?

I had a split driveshaft boot a while ago, wonder if it could be mess left from that?

I had the same when I bought my clio 2yrs back. Looked like from the breather on Gb. Cleaned then and never came back.

That's proper old muck and not something that would concern me personally.

Get it cleaned off and carry on with your life old boy.
