At a loose end on Sunday and thought that I would get out for the day after being stuck in a car all day Saturday travelling to Cambridge and sitting in traffic jams for 6 hours.
So I dusted the cobwebs off the Elf washed it saturday night and set off early Sunday morning. Managed to get though with mo problems and the Elf didn't miss a beat.
Got to Haynes and was guided to my place on the field and felt proud of appreciative comments from the marshalls and people staring.
All day people looking over the car and quite a few stopping for a chat as well. Although I did become worried when the Maxi Owners Club turned up and parked next to me. I mentioned Jeremy Clarkson once and think I got away with it.
Anyway on with the pics
The Elf was quite an attraction.
Was a great show and a huge selection of cars on show and in various stages of modification and rust. Only down point was blowing the radiator on the way home. Luckily it was only a couple of miles from home, waited for it to cool down and refilled it which got me home.
