rev issue please help!

hi

ive got a 172 cup..

recently its not been my friend...

if i tap the accelerator it doesnt rev but its like it wants to cut out or even stall but if i rev it gently and slowly it revs up fine..

has anyone had the same problem???

going to change the coil pack and leads see if that helps...
