Reverse light switch

My reverse light(s) (are there 1 or 2? I forget) are intermittently not working, well 9/10 times they dont work and I keep nearly hitting walls

Where is the switch?
How does it work?
It is easy to change?

Gearbox, lower passenger side
Its a switch,
Just screwed in but oil will leak out as you do it

Take the plug off and bridge the wires with a paper clip or bit of wire to check the rest of the circuit , might not be the switch at fault.

^^ Exactly what he said.

The undertray needs to come off ( 4 x 10mm bolts ), then reach through the suspension to reach and squeeze the plug to remove the connector.
The switch itself is in & out in seconds (I used an adjustable, so I don't know the size), and I only dropped a small amount of oil. Mostly down my arm :)

I paid £14.50 for my replacement switch from a local motor factors today.

Don't change it when the geabox oil is too hot!
