RIAT Fairford 2011

Hi All,

It's the first time I've ever gone to RIAT - I decided to go for the arrivals on Friday and made a last minute decision to go yesterday as the weather was going to be nice in the afternoon.

I took just over 5000 photos in 2 days (probably a new record for me!) and have decided that the 30D is too slow, especially for airshows - it'll sometime take 2-3 minutes for it to catch up with itself after filling the buffer up with shots!

Also decided to get a new lens as the 70-200L F/4 and the 1.4 Extender is too small for airshows - tempted to get a 100-400 and then use the extender.

I'll add some more later on once I've done a bit of sorting, but I'm fairly pleased with the results so far!

Yeah i've recently purchased it myself but only taken a few snaps with it so far, cant wait to use it properly!
