BTW Maz, how about making your thread titles relevant to the content, that way people know what you are asking about.
When the K700 came out I went for one of those. First time I'd ever had none Nokia. I loved the phone but it didn't do what I wanted it to....which was have the ability to receive texts and phone calls!!! o2 replaced it with a new one which did exactly the same so I went back to Nokia. I had the SE for a good few months but no amount of firmware updates fixed it.JayR said:My last 2 phone have been Sony Ericssons.........Theyve both been totally abused and iv not had a single problem to date.

As long as it works as a phone I'm happy. I have an iPod for music and 2 digital cameras for pics. My phone only has to do what a phone is meant to do.
adam5mith666 said:but lee, the phone company's idea is that - why carry around a seperate camera and an ipod?? why not have it all in a compact form in the phone?
i have always been high on samsung's, but later this month (when i get paid!) im going for the nokia N80, my bro has got that nokia slidey one, erm... the 6280??? that is a good phone!!
can anyone tell me what the N80 is like??
adam5mith666 said:hmm... are they really chunky and big?? i heard the N80 is smaller than the rest?.... fill me in please?! lol
Tim said:well maz you buy cheap you buy twice . :rasp:
I know, I'd prefer it to be smaller to be honest, but then you lose the nice screen. You can't win really.adam5mith666 said:yeh the 6280 isnt small, but still is a nice phone... i think these days they are tryin to go backwards witht he design and size, stating that size of handset doesnt matter too much these days...
thanks for the input lee! i didnt mean to start an arguement or go against what you were saying at all.
adam5mith666 said:im reluctant to get another SE because of the menu's and the screens, i mean, the menu's are basic and don't really stand out, similar to the early SE colour screen phones.
Roy Munson said:Samsung P300 is the best phone I've ever owned. So refreshing. It's so small and isnt laden with a load of sh*te that I dont need. It's just a phone, for speaking to people. It's a breath of fresh air getting away from the phone envy culture where people talk about the memory, how many megapixels...how it ties their shoe laces...yadda yadda blah blah.
Thats just me though
Laingo said:As you say, each to their own.... You get a hardon about how many teraflops your graphics card runs at - To me a computer is something for surfing the net and watching p**n. Not playing games with other nerds from around the world.
And my phone has a 3.2 Megapixel camera. So there. :rasp:
I just get the best phone I can evey 12 months as a free upgrade without paying anymore per month. Simple.
Roy Munson said:LOL fair play, although I generally play single player, so there
I have another PC, this one, for surfing the net and doing porno. Oh and I have a 5mp camera for taking pictures. 'Best phone' depends on your needs. I wanted a small fuss free beautiful looking phone with minimal features.
Whats a Teraflop?
