Right right right.. had enough

Maz

Car  LY 200
This f**king piece of s**t N91 is going back I am sick of it locking up

Going for the 6280 now, anyone got one of these ?? what they like ?? any good or rubbish :D

Yeah Maz, I've got one. Good phone, never had any problems with it neither.

Only one gribb, bit dusty on the inside of the screen after 7 months.

But other than that, is an Uber phone...

My 6230i was the same, how long have these been out then ?? thought they were pretty new ?? can't be if you have had yours 7 months though :)

I've had 2. The first one the slide became loose which made it rattle really badly in the car. It does get dust under the screen, but that's no problem as you can just pop the front off and clean it.

I chose it because my old 6230 was faultless for 18 months so figured I'd go for some thing similar. I'd never use any of the features on any of the N series, plus they are bigger, have worse battery life because of all the flash features and do seem to be slower and more prone to being unstable.

I'm happy enough with mine anyway.

I'm sure the phone geeks will slate them, but in reality it's a very good "phone". Reception and sound quality is much better than my old 6230, the screen is nice and texting is easy. There is one fault with the texting, it doesn't remember words which you have to spell for it. They may have fixed that now, but I have to add them first otherwise it forgets them.

Nokias a re sh*t!! Why won't anyone listen!!

There so sloooooooow!!!
I went to SE once, never again. Most unreliable phone I've ever had. I'm sure some have found that with Nokias though.

BTW Maz, how about making your thread titles relevant to the content, that way people know what you are asking about.;)

I agree with laingo.......All about the Sony's these days Mazza.........Your not keeping up with the times very well are you!? ;)

yeah it`s the same as anything really. People have good and bad experiences with different phones. I had a t68, k700 and now a W800 and apart from the joystick going a bit shitty after 12months or so I`ve had no problems with them...so I`ll be getting a k810 or what ever the newest one is.

When the K700 came out I went for one of those. First time I'd ever had none Nokia. I loved the phone but it didn't do what I wanted it to....which was have the ability to receive texts and phone calls!!! o2 replaced it with a new one which did exactly the same so I went back to Nokia. I had the SE for a good few months but no amount of firmware updates fixed it.

As long as it works as a phone I'm happy. I have an iPod for music and 2 digital cameras for pics. My phone only has to do what a phone is meant to do.

Had K700i, K750i and now K800i. All three are still in use - My mate has my K750i and I use my K700i as my work phone! Never missed a beat!

We use SE K750i's and Nokia 5140i's at work, site managers on building sites.

Guess which last longer that 2 weeks? ;)

but lee, the phone company's idea is that - why carry around a seperate camera and an ipod?? why not have it all in a compact form in the phone?

i have always been high on samsung's, but later this month (when i get paid!) im going for the nokia N80, my bro has got that nokia slidey one, erm... the 6280??? that is a good phone!!

can anyone tell me what the N80 is like??

hmm... are they really chunky and big?? i heard the N80 is smaller than the rest?.... fill me in please?! lol

Ive got an N70 and was shocked by how big the N91 was. A real brick.

Yeah I know that's their logic behind it. The mp3 player I can understand, although to me using all the battery life in my phone to listen to music gets on my nerves because when I need to phone someone it's flat. Camera wise even the best camera phones are only good for the odd impromptu snap here and there, and a bit of smut to make the day go faster. ;)

The N80 is nice and small, but very fat.

I always thought the n80 was pretty chunky when the keypad was down, bigger than my k800 anyway. The 6280 isnt a small phone by any stretch of the imagination either.

yeh the 6280 isnt small, but still is a nice phone... i think these days they are tryin to go backwards witht he design and size, stating that size of handset doesnt matter too much these days...

thanks for the input lee! i didnt mean to start an arguement or go against what you were saying at all.

get yourself a d900, had a n80, had a k800i, d900 def my choice cos has all the same features but mega light!

I know, I'd prefer it to be smaller to be honest, but then you lose the nice screen. You can't win really.

I know, there's no arguments here just some healthy discusion:approve:. Everyone has their favourites. Personally I really do like the SE phones but after what happened with the last one I'm reluctant to try one.

Funny how phones we consider small today are in fact massive. I used to have a 6110 which was lovely, then I went to a 7110 which was massive, followed by a phone which was really nice and small and an excellent phone, the 8310. After that they got bigger and bigger with the 7250 and 6230 and now the 6280.

Ideally I'd like one the size of the old 8310.

yeh same here really, i had a SE K750i on contract and that phone's camera was immense! but i got bored of the menu's and practicallity of the phone, texting and scolling around with the joystick got on my nerves. i took it to america and the pictures i took of my phone were so good i stoped using my camera and used my phone, i got 400pics on the standard mem card, and all came out top quality!

im reluctant to get another SE because of the menu's and the screens, i mean, the menu's are basic and don't really stand out, similar to the early SE colour screen phones.

Themes?

yeh i know u can have themes, and i did, but you get bored of them, and i kow it sounds stupid but i didnt like the writing style on the phone. not as good as nokia's

Samsung P300 is the best phone I've ever owned. So refreshing. It's so small and isnt laden with a load of shite that I dont need. It's just a phone, for speaking to people. It's a breath of fresh air getting away from the phone envy culture where people talk about the memory, how many megapixels...how it ties their shoe laces...yadda yadda blah blah.

Thats just me though :)

As you say, each to their own.... You get a hardon about how many teraflops your graphics card runs at - To me a computer is something for surfing the net and watching p**n. Not playing games with other nerds from around the world. ;)

And my phone has a 3.2 Megapixel camera. So there. :rasp:

I just get the best phone I can evey 12 months as a free upgrade without paying anymore per month. Simple.

LOL fair play, although I generally play single player, so there :o

I have another PC, this one, for surfing the net and doing porno. Oh and I have a 5mp camera for taking pictures. 'Best phone' depends on your needs. I wanted a small fuss free beautiful looking phone with minimal features.

Whats a Teraflop? ;)

I have an N70, had it a while now and i've not had a single problem with it tho due an upgrade soon and not sure what to get.....N73, K800i or the samsung D900??
