RIP SPEED TIMEWASTERS

Last sunday I went to my local Halfords to buy a new head unit and steering wheel thingy .But they had no steering wheel thingy (auto leads PC9-112) for my 03 dynamic.So they phoned a sister branch and they had one so i bought my head unit and adapter from them the wrexham branch,I live in chester so I had 30 mile return journey. So I get home excited remove my dash to fit the adapter(took an hour or so)then put it back together and guess what it dont work they sold me the one from the older clios.Come tuesday i was in wrexham so I went into halfords to ask if they had proper thingy(PC9-501)"no sorry mate try chester" ok then. Tonight I went the chester branch and explained what happened the lad i spoke to said they didnt have one so hell order it "how long mate" I say "about this long" he said as he held his 6 inches apart ( proper nobhead) and whats more he wants an extra £20

hi Kelly, sayin that i bought a sony cdx m 800 for £200 which is £180 -£200 in the mags. i went in 2 weeks ago and it was £300 and the would not discount it,a week later it was £100 less.

lol here we go again if ud spoken to me in my ripspeed dept I woulda told u that u needed a PC9-501 which is a little yellow plug adapter that fits on the end of the lead u already got and I would of told u that ud have it approx 3 - 4 days later or sooner if u wanted to pay express delievery

the trouble with Halfords is a high percentage of there staff are part time people at college or uni and are only there to make some money, dont know anythin at all about cars, just need to learn how to use the till.........
