I was told by blackspot TV remotes wont set laser off
Liam182 said:mines fitted so laser sensor ust looking over wipers and top of the clear square, so should be ok...?
interceptor said:I wouldnt rely on Laser detectors-Waste of time IMHO-Like previously said-Once it goes off you have pretty much been targeted.
Don't rely on Laser scatter as there isn't really any as the beam is so small and concentrated to a tiny area on Target.
Radar you will get more Scatter from.
I did have an S5 and it did go off with A traffic car behind me so there is a use for these, but it was going off while we were in stationery traffic!
r-jay said:I thought it was just the GPS signal that was effected by the screen, thought the UV coating had no effect on the laser going through.
The number plate sensor will always be a better option as that's wear they are said to aim.
Liam182 said:would have had nothing to do with the traffic cap mate. police while travelling calculate your speed as distance/time so nothing is going to pick up on that.
Liam182 said:reply from blackspot about this matter,
"Liam
The laser will pass through the anti uv screen.

Justin182 said:Mine gets blocked by the windscreen wipers as i have it flat on the dash. Thats why i got a numberplate one...
Liam182 said:thought you were saying it was the UV stopping it. Yeah the wipers will block it afterall light cant pass through them. Thats why I have mine looking out of the top of the clear square just above the wipers. Here you need an additional antenna which i have positioned looking out of the rear window.
