it hasnt got an external, its got one on the back of the unit itself. takes 30 seconds to a minute to get a signal. works better if you place it as far down the window as you can (by the open patch which doesnt have uv protection)

the subscription has run out unfortunatly, but it only costs 3.99 a month i believe.
