Rocker Cover Leak

Noticed my rocker cover is having the factory standard rocker cover oil leak! Last place that did the belts was birchdown so pretty sure the fault wont lie there! Anyway Ive kept my eye on how much oil has accumulated over the past 2 weeks, and it doesnt seem to have changed at all

Any ideas as to why, I dont think its overspill, one of the bolts looks a bit wet so hopefully it is leaking from there, will attempt a reseal asap, how worried should I be, belt change wont be for another year or so

Oh and any idea how this might of started since having its belts changed? Like I said it was Birchdown so I think it probably started after they did their work

my mates was doing the same, the rocker cover gasket is a pretty expensive job, he took each rocker cover bolt out one by one and put some instant silicone stuff on the bolts and then tightened it all up
hasnt leaked since, bit of a bodge but itll get you until belt change most probably

Yea exactly what I intend to do, I find it strange how it seems to reach a certain amount and stop leaking?! And how it has started seeing as though a good reputable specialist did the belts

Won't be anyone's fault, just a peril of these engines. The dirt that builds up around the leak tends to slow it down, doesn't take much of a leak to go absolutely everywhere

Well I will keep my eye on it, I will probably be best leaving it alone if it is very slow, removing the bolts will no doubt reopen the leak! So is it really that common on f4r's?

I remove and reseal at least one a month, usually more. Did one last night
