Just plug one end to your car and the other end to your laptop and then run the software?

If its second hand, remember to get it unlocked first before trying to flash your car else it wont work You will also need to purchase a map from fastchip that is matched to your cars ECU.

Buy a new licence from Fastchip website and you'll be sent a code to unlock it.

Yeah if you go to fastchip site and go to license just don't forget to change the option to your car as its set default to a v6 which is like three times the cost(its at the bottom of the page). You also need to have plugged the Tuner into the PC/laptop with the current version of the program. You then go to about and unlock VCI it should display a 25 digit code which you need to send when ordering.

Also when ordering the map you need to plug it in to you car and connect it to the ECU then use the capture button on the tuner software and send that when ordering the map. You can do this at the same time as ordering the unlock code/licence as it still allows you to read the ecu but you just cant change anything!
