A friend of mine has a RSI. Since a minor bump the airbag warning light and serv light come on intermitently. Is this to do with the connector under the seats for the pretensioners or could it be something to do with the sensor behind the bumper? Anyone got any ideas that may help.
If its the usual clio prob then itll be the connector under 1 (or both) seats. Pushing them together will probably sort it temporarily, for a perm fix best to get it hard wired by soldering the things up. I hope the minor bump was just a coincedence (cant help with the sensor thing)
if the car has had a minor bump the problem will actually be the seatbelt pretensioner itself. It will have fired off in a bump causing the airbag warning light to come on - the car will need a new pre-tensioner and a new airbag computer, as once these have fired off you cannot replace them.
