RSI gearbox in valver

Not that im going to do this or have one in mine!!!

is it pos to fit one, cause my mate has a valver and he says he cant get anywhere near 90 in third, 60 in second etc

its has had a recent recon box just before he goit it (500 notes worth!)

it should fit. ratios are different though iirc.

i get 60 in 2nd in mine but only about 85 in 3rd and thats well more than enough.

Should be quite rapid then as dont the rsi use shorted ratios?

the RSi has the same box as the RTs i think and does have shorter ratios. i think.

if it has got an RSi box in it should top out earlier but get there quicker. Think the RSi box maxs out at 125-130.

the gearbox would fit due to the 1.8 and 2.0 have the same block(near enough anyway) just different heads.poss would give the car a bit more acceleration though.should be able to find out if the box is for a 16v if you get me the full gearbox numbers(on a metal tag bolted to the casing on the top of the box).

nope checked out and its defo a 16v gear box so theres that one out the equation
