RSTUNER ECU updated?

Car  clio 2 rs2
Just one question, because Henk didn't respond to my mail:(
In this page :
http://www.fastchip.nl/content/view/33/27/

I saw
6400_2A07 RON98 groupe_N .rst
6400_2A07 RON98 july 2008 .cal
7300_5E10 RON98 may 2008 .cal

There were an update for the 6400 .cal file in 21st july.
But the groupe_N.rst is new or not?
This post just because i am runing the groupe_N.rst ECU software but the one BEFORE 21st july.
I would only know if it useless to remap or not?
THX

i don't know mate, maybe wait for Henk to answer or try the .cal (maybe it's a better/updated grN file), and if it's not good, go back to the old one.

because Henk didn't respond to my mail
That's because I just got it this evening.
Anyway, the latest available calibration is usually the best.
So if you have 6400 software on, you update to the latest 6400_.cal. It is that simple.

:D Thx a lot Henk
Does the rev limiter will be 7800 with the new cal, or be 7500?
Last time i put the cal file on the GrN.rst my rev limiter down to 7500?!?

Ok i'm testing the 21st julyRON98.cal--->rev is 7500:cry:
I will try much longer, but for now no differences for me.
Seems not to be equal of GrN.
I ever tryied the 98ron.cal before the 21st july one and....:headno: was not what i expected

My config is :
-Cup air intake with front bumper cold air hose
-inlet/manifold/butterfly adjusted/enlarged
-GrN full decat inox exhaust.
This on F4R 736 CB1T.
I will certainly remap with GrN if there no significants changes....:coffee:

OK sensations update:
Well job Henk:hail:
After some kms and stop and restart:
More torque lower, at 2000 you feel a real difference before the old .cal.
The car seems to be most responsive when you put the foot on floor.
The little thing i regreat is the rev at 7500, when you take some habits with the 7850, you feel that the car lost something:dapprove: Couple of time my head knock on airbag at the 7500 limit:race:
A RON98.cal with the rev at 7850 will be a dream for me...
Again good job Henk, now i d tested and approuved;)
PS: i saw that my car flash one time when i open her, but didn't flash twice anymore since the remap when i close her.
Linked with the .cal or it's something else?

he has put an updated .cal file on the site today

uploading the cal file in the morning as the rst file i wanted is the wrong software

so just going for the updated .cal file

sounds like will be a nice improvement

just put in the software also I am not getting 7500 Rpm !! When I make a log the maximum is around 7100 Rpm ! does anybody experience the same

Normally putting in the grn_6400_2a07.rst and 6400_2a07_ron98.cal would set you up OK. For some suspisous reson I´m not getting the car to rev till 7500 Rpm even if the car is VERY hot (hahaha)

maybe he has lowered the limits back to 7500. I never found much power to be had between 7500 and 7850 anyway!

Yes prehaps it s better like this;) 7800 is really the limit of this engine for fiability, and it eat more oil at this rev :o
