RStuner question

  182 Turbo
A few questions about the RS tuner, am I right in saying this is a hand held device that remaps your car? Is this easy to use and can u mess around with different maps launch control pops and bangs and can u reset your ECU back to normal? I would rather this than a company remap as obviously you can reset the ECU for resale and also just remap it for the weekends and stuff ? Or is the device not as simple as that? Anyone with experience with these devices would appreciate your advice thanks.

Yes once youve got your head round the fairly straight forwards process you can plug the rstuner into your car and remap it. Due to the cost of the maps your likely to pic one and use it rather than jumping between maps quite as frequently as suggested. I ran the 98ron map for 18months then the launch control map became available so i swapped to that (and sold the car with it on)

All in all its well worth the pennies, plus its always good fun driving down the road producing power graphs :)
