Running two amps

  Oyster Card
I'm looking to buy a new headunit can someone recommend one, I want a cheapish one around £200, if I was to run two amps what would I need to look out for is it two preouts or something like that?

I take it you are looking to run one amp for components and one for sub?

For this you will need a head unit with at least 2 preouts, you can use one and y leads but you could not fade or change the balanceof your speakers

you will also need 4 guage wiring, fused distribution block etc fot the amps

yeah it is better to get a h/u with at least two preouts

and make sure your wiring is up to the job to run both your amps

Alpine Headunits are by far the best IMO, for £200, you cld pick up a good middle of the range one that would have probly 3 pre-outs for sub, front and back.

i dis agree that u say the alpine head units are best because i personally think there are a top 3 alpine pioneer and kenwood. my personal choice was better value for money on a pioneer one. check out cel-direct.com or caraudiodirect.com

If you want a great quality sounding headunit go for the Pioneer p77. It's an excellent head unit and it's quality is second to none! Having 3 x 6volt pre outs, it give you unlimited system expansion possibilities for the future.
