Got quite a bit of rust kicking in on the old arches, its started to blister an crack the paint. Is it worth getting the arches cut out?? has any one had this done and how much did it set you back??

yes deffo get the arches cut out, and panals welded in, this will last longer.
i would imagine this would cost apprx 300+ quid, depending on the amount of rust/ is it both sides, etc.
Where are you based, i know a good place in guildford that could do this.

It can be a time consuming job depending on how much rust there is so expect to pay for a fair bit of labour!
