Sat Nav recomendations

My parents want to buy me a sat nav system say £300~500. Ive no idea whats best but it needs
To work on the continent
Be accurate
To be transportable between cars

Also would help if.
Its free to update (Im cheap)
Include speed cameras
Battery last a long time as my car doesnt have a cigarette lighter (dont want to have to start wiring one in really but I will do if need be).

Can you get the speed camera overlays with a TomTom Go? Ive got it one my iPaq 4150 and TomTom bluetooth package.

Can any of these accept maps showing speed cameras on the continet all the info I cna find shows they can old do UK speed camera maps.

if not speak to cupcake, as i think he added them to his ipaq thingy for the ring trip, so should be able to tell you how to do it.

Tomtom go isnt as good as an ipaq with tomtom/Checkpoint though. It can only alert you when you are x yards away from it and not in time scales etc.

Just seen the whole battery life thing, youll probably need tomtom go if you really cant get a power feed to it.
