Scapping bumpers!

Im thinkibg of getting my Mk2 172 lowered 40MM but im worried about scrapping my car on speed humps etc.

Has anyone here lowered there Mk2 172 by 40MM and has it caused any problems on clearance.

andy you wont have any problems with your car scrapping on speed humps lowered -40mm, ive had mine lowered -40mm and have got an espace front spliter on aswell, but i take that off when the standard 16s go back on for the winter as it would be to low but its fine with out a spliter on, no scrapping at all. Paul - did the espace splitter just screw on or did you have to cut it to length as well? looks good

Robby the spliter is screwed on and i had to cut the ends off as it was a to long, its easy enough to fit. paul172

Hmm very tempting, so it only had to be cut at the ends where it overlapped into the arches?
