Scary moment

Was on my way to work to jack my car up because I could feel I little wobble I'm on my way to work I cross over the roundabout and go to turn right and my car goes straight on and comes to a very loud scrapping stop and I get out to see my drivers wheel turned fully right and my left wheel turned fully left :-0 I look under the car to find my track rod end nut had fell off :-(

Fuk! Recent track rod ends? Only way it could happen is if they werent done up as the nuts are nylon lock things.

I changed my shock about 6 weeks ago must of been that :-(

Why did you undo the track rod to change the shock?

Always use new locknuts if you take the old ones off!

Unless Its a split pin nut.

Lesson learnt, no harm done

mikeh I took the hub off while I was doing the strut so I could clean it all up
