school updates road angel 2

I got a new RA2.. as mine packed up.. they sent me a new one.

Quite cool, but Im turning it off.. theres school nearby so it beeps like mad when I reverse on drive.. heh.

The RA they sent me has newer software too.. works better than my other one (which I got literally straight after it was released.)

there some discussion on if these will still be legal next year any one had any feed back from Blackspot on this?

mine has just started with the school updates, and i turned it off as there seems to be a school every 2-3 miles or so and it was doing my head in so i turned it off

think gps systems will be exempt, but as in the road angel 2 which also scans for laser and snooper s3 neo which scans for radar, im not sure.

Dunno, this is definetly different.. has an extra menu option for one thing!

Dunno if the software updater updates the firmware or just camera locations!

The menus are numbered too, they werent on mine originally.

1-1 etc.. in bottom left corner.

so dunno. Cant remember mine having numbered menus, are you referring to the main menus and not the sub menus?

I agree lots of blackspot sites and also school zones, would drive some passengers daft! and keep getting warnings about schools on the M1! lol obviously nearby schools, its not accurate enough to tell exactly what road you are on.
