Hi, i've just got off the phone with autopaints and a nice chap told me that they only do water based paints by law now and I need a solvent based one if I want to touch up any scratches on my car otherwise I will get a poor match.
What are my options now then as he said if they have solvent based in stock they can still sell it. I haven't got a clue where to look though.
I have a scratch on the door about 2inches that goes throguth to the primer. I have a flame red (B76 ) so can any one offer advice? Do I need to primer the scratch 1st and then laquer it after or just touch it up? I was going to do it with a cocktail stick.
thanks.
