Hi there everyone, this is my first thread post so still new to all this.
Some context on what happened. I recently took off the bumper on my 182 to remove the headlight washers for washer blanks and when putting the bumper back I forgot to ziptie the the bottom part of the wheel arch to the undertray. I took it for a spin yesterday and the whole OSF wheel arch ripped apart and into shreds.
Now onto the main problem, every time I give steering input stationary or at slow speeds you can hear a scraping sound on the aux belt. PAS fluid is full and aux belt is still tight. Im guessing with steering input the belt is slipping on the PAS pulley. This happened straight after the wheel arch broke off, do you think it could have damaged the belt and caused this?
I’ll attach a video of the sound when giving on and off steering input.
Thank you in advance to any help you can provide on this.
