Screeching

Hi all... Just a quickie, when I first start my car up now on the cold, winter monrings... or evenings i get a loud screeching, of which i think from one of the belts. Can anyone define this a bit more for me thanks

Alternator/fan belt. Same thing with mine, till it snapped.
