sealing

  535d / t5 caravelle
quick question folks, i washed/dried, polished, and then sealed the car yesterday using chemical guys products, then it was going dark so had to call it a day, am i ok to seal it again when it stops raining? even if it means giving the car a quick clean again or have i missed my window to seal it a few times?

also when should i have used the xxx hardcore paste/wax, before the seal i presume?

cheers

Yeah you can layer wax, im not sure about THAT wax but i would imagine so,

Needs to be given a quick wash first.

EDIT: im confused, you've sealed it, surely you want to wax it now?

wash>clay>wash>dry>polish>seal and/or wax.

You can reseal as much as you want. Sealents you can reapply as and when. Waxes you need to leave for a day or so preferably to add layers.

And sealents before waxes, if you're using both.

thats what i was unsure about, if you waxed it after the seal

thanks mate, a great help that guys, answered my question for me there, i'll try and get some wax on it asap, a bit new to this polishing/sealing/waxing etc, back in my day you used to chuck some colour coded turtl wax on and be off  , i quite enjoyed doing it, spent a good 4 hours on it, would have liked to carry on but, light became an issue, anyway, theres always next time, cheers

I Extra Glossed it about a fortnight before you had it, should have given ya a few months protection ;)

I miss that car, looked sooooo good when you drove off :( :(

Nothing wrong with that chap :) you weren't to know. You will need to get rid of last stage protection (LSPs) every 6 months to apply a fresh layer.
